Underrated Equipment #1 - Rolling Tool Tray

This piece of equipment has to be one of my favorites. I use it every time I am on a job. It is the rolling tool tray. When working on a vehicle, you never want to put tools or parts on the vehicle. You could easily scratch paint on the vehicle, or worst, drop something down into the engine or engine bay.

I’ve been guilty of placing parts and tools on a vehicle while I’m working on it, and time and time again I have dropped things down into the engine bay and either could never find them or had to spend extra time fishing to get whatever it was that I dropped.

This tool tray helps by keeping everything in one place and organized. The only downside of this tool tray is that I can not find the color I want. I have only found a red one. Even though that’s not really a bad downside, I do like it to match the rest of my tool storage. Maybe I’ll spray paint it one day.
